Great food and service! Our burgers, fries, and shakes were delicious! We will definitely come back the next time we are in Philly!

The burger is exceptional!!! And I loved the cocktail selection. Will come back for both. Vibe was a little "dirty" though.

The service was really quick and we went during lunchtime on a Tuesday. The food was cooked very well; the fries were perfectly crunchy, the burger was a good texture, and the milkshake was amazing. There are TVs everywhere to be entertained and the music isn't very loud. I'll definitely be back soon.

I like this place and try to stop by when I'm in Philly. Vibe is great with good music and sports on the screen. Staff (Fernando) is very attentive and friendly. Food is excellent for this type of establishment. Fresh, tasty and prepared very well. I had Brown Butter and Maple Glazed Brussel Sprouts as a starter and the local Kook Burger. I asked for only one 4oz patty instead of two as the balance between beef and topping is better and more flavorful. Do yourself a favor and drop in.

I really try not to bring up cost when doing a review unless it really stands out as something out of the ordinary, good or bad. When it comes to Kook though it's just an unfortunate factor. It's just so expensive for what you get. There were 3 of us. We each ordered a burger. 2 of us ordered alcoholic drinks. That was it. The bill was $97 for 3 burgers and 2 drinks. Now I will admit $30 of that was the drinks. But $67 for 3 burgers is just so much. As far as the taste and quality of burger goes, it was extremely good. I had the Philly Special Burger. The pretzel bun with the long hot mayo and smash style burger was really delicious. The drinks were decent, but nothing special. I can't say I will never be back because I do want to try a Shoobie Shake. I would love to recommend this place because the burger was so good, but I can only recommend it if you are know it's going to be very pricey.

Stopped by Kook Burger and Bar to see if their burgers were on par with the best burgers Philly has to offer. I took a seat at the bar right across from an old Mike Schmidt comic book hanging on the wall. I started out with a very refreshing alcoholic iced tea that I don't remember the name of. It was good enough for me to order a second one. For my meal, I ordered the kook burger with truffle fries. The kook burger is a double smash patty with cheese. I'm generally not a fan of smash patties because they are generally overcooked and dry. But these patties were still juicy and the sauce made the burger even better. The truffle fries only had slight trifle flavor but were perfectly cooked and crispy. As far as smash burgers go, the kook burger is definitely one of the best. But not quite on the level of a few of the thicker juicier burgers in the city. I enjoyed my time at the bar and do plan to return.
